Sauna in Carlsbad.

Slow down, warm up and make recovery part of your routine. The sauna at Carlsbad Athletic Club gives members and guests a convenient way to relax after training, or to schedule a dedicated heat session in Carlsbad Village.

Included with every membership. Guest pricing and access rules publish when the club opens.

Recovery Under One Roof

A better recovery routine, in the same place you train.

A consistent recovery routine is easier when it fits into the same place you train. Use the sauna after a workout, on a lighter recovery day, or as part of a contrast-therapy session when cold plunge access is available.

The goal is simple: create time to decompress, tolerate controlled heat and leave feeling ready for the rest of your day. Sauna sessions can stand alone or complement red light therapy, compression boots and sports massage.

Why Clients Use the Sauna

Heat, on your schedule.

How a Sauna Session Works

Simple, with clear limits.

  1. Reserve a session or confirm member-access rules before arriving.
  2. Hydrate and follow the posted safety guidance.
  3. Enter for an appropriate amount of time based on your experience and comfort.
  4. Exit if you feel lightheaded, unwell or excessively uncomfortable.
  5. Cool down gradually, or follow the supervised contrast-therapy sequence when booked.
Build your recovery session

Pair sauna with cold plunge for contrast therapy, use red light before or after training, or add compression boots while you relax. The Recovery Services page can help you choose based on time, preference and training schedule.
